Parking for Town Center events: Wine Fest, the Car Show and Jolly Holly Day 2026

The short answer

For Suwanee Wine Fest (Nov. 7, 2026), the Classic Car Show (Nov. 8) and Jolly Holly Day (Dec. 4), the city's guidance is its Downtown Public Parking Map: street spaces around City Hall, lots west and east of it, a deck across Buford Highway and curbside at Town Center on Main. The townhome area south of City Hall is no parking. No shuttles are announced.

For the next big events in downtown Suwanee, the city’s parking guidance is one document: its Downtown Public Parking Map. That covers Suwanee Wine Fest on Saturday, November 7, 2026, the Suwanee Classic Car Show on Sunday, November 8, 2026, and Jolly Holly Day on Friday, December 4, 2026 (sources for each date are in the table below). The map marks public parking on the streets around Town Center Park and City Hall, surface lots west and east of City Hall, a deck across Buford Highway, Buford Highway frontage, lots on the Old Town side and curbside spaces at Town Center on Main. It marks the neighborhood directly south of City Hall as no public parking. We found no shuttle or event-specific parking plan for any of the three.

On the city’s website, the “Public Parking Map” link and the “Event Parking” link open the same one-page map (City parking map). It names landmarks, not lots, and lists no fees, time limits or space counts. We read it on October 17, 2026.

Where the map marks public parking

  • Around Town Center Park and City Hall: on-street spaces along the streets that ring the park, on both sides of City Hall, and a lot behind (south of) City Hall.
  • West of City Hall: a large surface lot between City Hall and Buford Highway.
  • East of City Hall: a lot laid out as one long row.
  • The deck: a parking deck labeled “DECK” west of Buford Highway, beside a pond, across the highway from Town Center. The map gives no address or entrance for it.
  • Buford Highway frontage: spaces along the west side of the highway.
  • Old Town side, north of the rail line: lots by the Court building next to Station Park, at the Police building, by the Church on Main Street and by the Library.
  • Town Center on Main: curbside parking along the loop road formed by High Line Street and Main Street.
  • South of City Hall: a row of on-street spaces between Town Center and the residential area.

Where not to park

The map shades the residential neighborhood directly south of City Hall and Town Center in red: no public parking. Those streets are rows of townhomes. The blue row of on-street spaces just north of them is fine. Past that, leave the neighborhood alone.

Accessible parking

City Hall’s page says public parking for the building is on either side of it along Charleston Market Street and Savannah Square Street and along Town Center Avenue, with spaces for people with disabilities at the front of City Hall, 330 Town Center Avenue (City of Suwanee). The parking map doesn’t mark any other accessible spaces.

Event by event

Suwanee Wine Fest, November 7, 2026

The 13th annual Suwanee Wine Festival is in Town Center Park (Suwanee Wine Fest). The organizer’s FAQ gives VIP entry from noon and general admission from 1 p.m., both ending at 4:30 p.m. (Suwanee Wine Fest). The city calendar shows the noon start. It is 21 and older only, with no babies in strollers and no pets. The same Saturday morning, the winter farmers market opens its season at Town Center on Main (City of Suwanee), running 9 to 11 a.m. That makes two events in one day: the market on the Main Street side in the morning and the festival in Town Center Park from noon.

Suwanee Classic Car Show, November 8, 2026

The car show runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Town Center on Main & DeLay Nature Park, 421 Main Street, with up to 180 cars, and it is free to the public, per Explore Gwinnett. The parking map marks curbside spaces on the High Line Street and Main Street loop around that park, plus a lot by the library. If those are full, the Town Center lots are on the other side of the pedestrian tunnel. The city calendar also lists a Veterans Memorial Celebration that day from 1 to 1:30 p.m. The calendar listing we could read gives no location, so check the City of Suwanee calendar for details.

Jolly Holly Day & Tree Lighting, December 4, 2026

The city calendar lists Jolly Holly Day in Town Center Park from 6 to 9 p.m. Explore Gwinnett lists Santa’s arrival at 6:30 p.m. and the tree lighting at 8 p.m. (Explore Gwinnett). If seeing Santa arrive matters to your group, aim to be parked well before 6:30 p.m. Our Jolly Holly Day guide has the full evening.

Walking in through the pedestrian tunnel

The two downtown parks are linked on foot. The city’s Town Center page says Town Center on Main & DeLay Nature Park is “just through the pedestrian tunnel” from Town Center (City of Suwanee), and a city news release tells visitors they can “walk through the pedestrian tunnel near the library to Main Street” (City of Suwanee). In practice, you can park on either side for an event at either park.

The only walking time the city has published downtown comes from its Summer Porch Jam page: park at Town Center behind Ippolito’s, and Old Town is “a quick ten-minute walk” (City of Suwanee). We don’t have published times for any other route.

If you’d rather ride, the city’s Koloni bikes are at Town Center Park and Town Center on Main. The first 2 hours are free, then $2 per hour (City of Suwanee).

The Suwanee Fest model, and why it doesn’t apply here

Suwanee Fest is the one downtown event where the city has said Town Center parking is unavailable. Its 2025 release urged attendees to use free off-site shuttle lots instead (City of Suwanee). For 2026, the festival ran free shuttles from three lots (SuwaneeFest.com):

  • Gwinnett Church, 300 Peachtree Industrial Blvd.
  • Shadowbrook Church, 4187 Suwanee Dam Rd., with accessible shuttles.
  • Shawnee North Business Center, 300 Shawnee North Dr.

Dogs were welcome on the 2026 shuttles. Suwanee Fest 2026 ran September 19–20 (SuwaneeFest.com), and no 2027 dates were published when we checked. Nothing like this has been posted for Wine Fest, the Car Show or Jolly Holly Day, so plan around the regular map and check the organizer’s site the week of the event. Looking ahead, Suwanee Beer Fest organizers say parking is available at Town Center Park, on Main Street and on Buford Highway (Suwanee Beer Fest); that festival is set for March 20, 2027.

Getting to Town Center

From I-85 northbound, take exit 111 (Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road), turn left, and drive about 2.5 miles to Buford Highway. Turn left, then take the first left onto Town Center Avenue (City of Suwanee). From Peachtree Industrial Boulevard northbound, turn right onto Suwanee Dam Road, cross Buford Highway, and take the first right onto Town Center Avenue. Our parking guide has the map with every marked area, and the events calendar keeps dates current.
