Photo, film and map credits for this guide

The short answer

Credits for the photographs, the home page film and the map data used on the Downtown Suwanee Guide. Every photo is a real, openly licensed photograph shown with its credit, and we say plainly which ones are years old or were taken outside downtown.

Every photograph on the Downtown Suwanee Guide is a real photograph used under a public-domain or Creative Commons license, with its credit listed below. The short film on the home page is cut from those same photos, and nothing in it is generated. The map is drawn from OpenStreetMap data (OpenStreetMap contributors).

A few honest labels

  • Many of the Suwanee Creek Greenway photos were taken in 2008 and 2009, and others in 2019, so trees, railings and signs may look different today.
  • The boardwalk and pond photos used on the parks pages were taken at George Pierce Park, a Gwinnett County park in Suwanee, in 2021. They are not Town Center photos.
  • The photo of tents and lawn chairs on the terraced lawn was taken at Suwanee Day 2010.
  • The Settles Bridge photo shows the Chattahoochee River at Settles Bridge, not Settles Bridge Park’s dog park or trails.
  • We have no photos of the Town Center Park lawn, the stage, Big Splash, PlayTown, Sims Lake, or any restaurant or shop, so we don’t show any.
