About the Downtown Suwanee Guide

The short answer

The Downtown Suwanee Guide is an independent visitor guide to downtown Suwanee, Georgia, published as a Gold Peach Realty community guide. It isn't the City of Suwanee's website and has no affiliation with the city, Gwinnett County or any business or event it covers. Every fact links to its source with the date we checked it, and we fix errors when readers report them.

Who publishes this guide

The Downtown Suwanee Guide is a Gold Peach Realty community guide. Gold Peach Realty is a Georgia real estate brokerage, and it publishes the site. The Downtown Suwanee Guide Editorial Team writes and checks it.

The guide covers downtown Suwanee in Gwinnett County, Georgia: Town Center and Town Center Park, City Hall, Old Town and Main Street, Town Center on Main and DeLay Nature Park, PlayTown Suwanee, the parks and the Suwanee Creek Greenway, SculpTour, the farmers market, events, parking and places to eat. A brokerage also cares about homes, which is why we have pages on living in Suwanee and selling. Everything else is written for visitors first.

Independence

This is not the City of Suwanee’s website. We aren’t affiliated with the city, its Downtown Development Authority, Gwinnett County, Explore Gwinnett, or any business or event we cover. We link to them because they’re our sources. They don’t review or endorse our pages.

How we check facts

Every time, fee, address, phone number and date on this site comes from a source we read and link to. Primary sources come first: the City of Suwanee’s pages, PDFs and news releases; Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation; the Gwinnett County Public Library; Gwinnett County Public Schools; and the U.S. Census Bureau. After those come Explore Gwinnett and the organizers’ and businesses’ own websites. Each fact shows the date we last checked it.

When sources disagree, we say so. The city’s parks page calls the Brushy Creek Greenway 0.4 mile, while its Town Center on Main page says ½ mile, so we print both. When we can’t confirm something, such as a restaurant’s hours or a 2027 festival date, we leave it out and tell you who to ask.

How we use AI

AI tools help us draft. People check every fact against its source before it’s published.

Sponsorship

Nobody pays to appear on this guide, and we haven’t sold any placements. If that changes, every sponsored placement will be clearly labeled as sponsored.

Photos and the map

Our photographs are real, openly licensed and credited on the photo credits page. Some are years old, and the credits say so. The map is drawn from OpenStreetMap data. Parking areas follow the City of Suwanee’s Downtown Public Parking Map, which marks areas, not named lots.

Close three-quarter view of a small one-story red-brick building with two tall white multi-pane windows under brick arches and olive-green double French doors; the transom over the doors reads '659 Main Street'; an oval black plaque reads 'Old Town Suwanee 1908'; a weathered wood fence at left, white picket fence at right, overcast sky.
