Downtown Suwanee events, fall 2026 to spring 2027

As of Saturday, October 17, 2026, the next big Suwanee events downtown are the 13th annual Suwanee Wine Fest on Saturday, November 7, the Suwanee Classic Car Show on Sunday, November 8, and Jolly Holly Day and the tree lighting on Friday, December 4, 2026. Every date on this page comes from the City of Suwanee calendar or the host’s own page, and each one links its source.

Also on now: The Art of Light, a photography exhibition at the Suwanee Arts Center, runs through October 30, 2026, and the gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., per Explore Gwinnett.

The big annual events

Suwanee Wine Fest: Saturday, November 7, 2026

The 13th annual festival fills Town Center Park. VIP entry starts at noon and general admission at 1 p.m., and both ending at 4:30 p.m., per the Suwanee Wine Fest FAQ; the city calendar shows the noon start. It is 21 and older only, with no babies in strollers and no pets. When we checked, general admission was $65, rising to $70 and then $75 on the day, and VIP was sold out.

Suwanee Classic Car Show: Sunday, November 8, 2026

Up to 180 classic, muscle, exotic and import cars fill Town Center on Main & DeLay Nature Park, 421 Main Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with live music, food and vendors, per Explore Gwinnett. It is free to the public. Registering a car costs $35, or $40 on the day.

Jolly Holly Day and Tree Lighting: Friday, December 4, 2026

The city calendar lists 6 to 9 p.m. in Town Center Park. Explore Gwinnett says Santa arrives at 6:30 p.m. for photos and the tree is lit at 8 p.m., with elementary school choirs, crafts, vendors and food trucks. Admission is free. Suwanee Beer Fest: Saturday, March 20, 2027

The 16th annual Beer Fest returns to Town Center Park, and tickets go on sale January 8, 2027, per the organizer. You must be 21 or older, and only certified service dogs are allowed. The organizer’s FAQ still describes the 2026 festival, so wait for 2027 prices and times. The timed Beer Chaser 5K starts from Town Center Park at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2027, and uses the Suwanee Creek Greenway.

Suwanee Fest: 2027 dates not announced

The festival began as Suwanee Day in May 1984 and has filled Town Center Park since 2004, per SuwaneeFest.com. The 2026 edition ran September 19 and 20; no 2027 dates were posted when we checked. Plan on shuttles: the City of Suwanee said in 2025 that Town Center parking is unavailable during the festival.

Summer Porch Jam: nothing published for 2026

The city’s Porch Jam page still shows the Friday, June 13, 2025 evening in Old Town and says to stay tuned for 2026 information. Nothing more was posted. At that event, food and drinks were sold near the caboose on Main Street, alcohol had to stay inside the barricaded food court, and there was no BYOB.

Every week downtown

• Farmers market: Saturdays through October 31, 2026, then the winter market. See our farmers market guide.
• Suwanee Circle: the food truck park at Town Center on Main is open Wednesday to Friday 6 to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 5 to 10 p.m., per the City of Suwanee, and has a small stage for live acoustic music.
• Saturday bluegrass at Everett’s Music Barn, 4055 Stonecypher Road: its own site says doors open at 6 p.m. and shows start at 7 p.m. The city’s page says 8 p.m., so confirm before you go. The venue is alcohol-free.
• Suwanee Running Series: finish five series races in a year and you earn a limited-edition finisher t-shirt, per the City of Suwanee.

Event-day rules worth knowing

• Visitors may not bring their own alcohol into Town Center Park; on event days, alcohol may be bought from Town Center merchants. City of Suwanee

• Glass containers, skateboards, motorized vehicles and drones are not allowed in Town Center Park. City of Suwanee

The city’s park ordinance allows alcohol in a park only at events the city has authorized. Leashed dogs are allowed in Town Center Park, but not at Wine Fest or Beer Fest (service dogs only at Beer Fest).

For parking, the city’s Downtown Public Parking Map marks public parking around Town Center Park, City Hall and Town Center on Main, plus a parking deck, and marks the residential area south of City Hall as no public parking. Our parking guide walks through each area.

We build the list from the City of Suwanee’s calendar, Explore Gwinnett’s listings and organizers’ own pages, and each entry shows its source and checked date. The city’s individual event pages could not be opened, so for the six rows marked “see city calendar” we give only the date, time and title; ask the city calendar or City Hall (770-945-8996) for details. The city calendar runs to January 23, 2027, so spring and summer 2027 events will be added as hosts post them.

Downtown stays busy: Suwanee’s Main Street program reported 73 promotional events with total attendance of 131,200 in 2024, in its own impact report.
